Background & Context
This entrepreneurship project was developed as part of a business innovation assignment, focusing on the creation of a digital platform concept that solves real consumer pain points through design thinking and technology.
The proposed concept, Shi-Op It, is a mobile application prototype designed to simplify the jastip (personal shopping service) process by connecting shoppers and buyers in a seamless, transparent, and interactive way.
The app concept emerged from observing how online consumers increasingly rely on trusted buyers to purchase exclusive or overseas products, yet lack a structured, safe platform for the process.
Project Objective
To design a mobile application prototype that empowers small entrepreneurs, personal shoppers, and customers to engage in a trusted jastip ecosystem.
Project Scope & Deliverables
1. Concept Development
Defined problem statement: lack of transparency and reliability in informal jastip transactions.
Formulated value proposition: provide a secure and convenient mobile platform where users can explore, order, and track products purchased by trusted shoppers.
2. App Features & User Flow
Sign-Up & Login: User registration and profile creation for shoppers and buyers.
Home Page: Product recommendations, trending items, and exclusive deals.
Live Shopping: Interactive streaming feature where jastip agents showcase and purchase items in real time.
Order Tracking: Integrated map and live update system to track items bought via jastip.
Wishlist & Review: Users can save items and leave feedback after transactions.
3. UI/UX Design
Created a visually appealing interface using soft pastel tones to communicate trust, safety, and lifestyle branding.
Designed intuitive navigation with consistent icons for Home, Live, Order, and Profile.
Built clickable prototype screens representing user journey — from discovery to order tracking.
Outcome
Shi-Op It demonstrates an innovative approach to merging entrepreneurship and digital technology.
By visualizing the jastip ecosystem through a functional app prototype, this project highlights how user experience design can translate entrepreneurial ideas into practical digital solutions.
The concept showcases a scalable business idea that could evolve into a social-commerce platform supporting micro-entrepreneurs and shoppers alike.
